Working with children and their families is an emotive and often emotionally draining area of social work. Whilst our colleagues tell us that seeing families reunited and being able to move on from Social Work care is a huge boost, we also understand the challenges and sometimes the pressure you will face.

That is why we operate an open door management policy with full support, advice and guidance whenever you need it. Our managers have experienced first hand every twist and turn your day could bring, and they are there to help you through any issues you have and to ensure that you are confident and competent to meet your objectives and ensure the very best outcomes.

Everybody who joins us, whatever their level of expertise, works a caseload which reflects their abilities and which will only increase when you feel capable and confident to make a positive difference to more children and their families. You should never feel overwhelmed and will enjoy incredible support as you take your skills further.
